Waltham FSSC 88-W-800 spec watches were produced for USN pilots and were essentially made to the same specification (94-27834B) as the USAAF Type A-11 watches, except 88-W-800 required a luminous handset and dial. All 88-W-800, like their Type A-11 siblings, had sweep second hands. Movement is a Caliber 6.0 with 15 jewels, hack set and Serial Number 31,822,735 places production to 1943. Overall condition is used with  some wear and  minor speckling on bezel and comes with an original  Navy/ Marine stretch  band ....very neat . USN watches are much harder to find and likely made in much lower number than other models.
