Probably in the top 3 or four rarest Illinois ever made. These DePollier cased divers were produced in 1919 and were first attempt at a waterproof military watch. Crown taper locks into flanges on side of case putting tension on it's cork gaskets. Dial is original, metal with great luminous numerals and hands ..some patina across it. Case is large for its time (1919) measuring 37.8mm x 42.6 mm overall . Case is brass with a heavy black finish has screw back and screw bezel with original glass crystal. These are extremely rare and have seen more in books than anywhere else! This one is in very high condition and everything including the crown is operating properly. This is only the third one of these I've ever owned and it's complete ,all original and ready to go!!

Hamilton     "Bomb Timer"     Ca.1943               New Arrival

Mint condition on this Hamilton bomb timer from 1943. These were used to record bombing runs and establish hit credit for pilots and gun turrets operators. The battle over "hit credits" were determined by these HAMILTON  timers , integrated in cameras, that determined to the second who fired the first successful shot. Note the hacking pin on top left of picture ...when depressed hacks movement for exact synchronization. This one has been converted to a wrist watch with metal  band  and clasp...really neat. This WW1 Elgin has set in a drawer for most of it's life. When I purchased it  the original khaki cloth strap and "Signal Corp." clasp were still installed. All original Recta in very large size measuring 51.8mm . Movement is hand wound   jeweled ...but not marked as to number and it's running perfect. Case  is chromium metal and in very high condition with snap back  .. British ordinance markings  are GS/TP,F070988. Dial is Black porcelain and it is outstanding with all original luminous intact on numerals..some smudging but not bad  ....super condition!!   These were made for both the German military and British before war...and I believe this is pre-war or early war production.

Hamilton           "USN BU SHIPS" Military watch

Very scarce Hamilton USN BU Ships. Signed Hamilton on dial in black above the USN---hard to see. Signed on back of case K-H-3 for Keystone Hamilton and on movement so this one is 100% original. Case measures 31.04 x 38.2 overall. Movement is a caliber 987-A non-hacking with sub-seconds with 17 jewels has just been serviced and running great. Overall condition is very nice ---showing it's age as it should after 60 years of service. Comes with brand new canvas military style strap---ready to go.
