Gallet Desert Storm
(1990) - Six prototypes were submitted for testing by the US Government. After
all prototypes easily passed tests for resistance against extremes in shock,
magnetism, altitude, and water intrusion, 30,000 were ordered in 1990 for the
pilots that flew the air missions during the Persian Gulf War. Watches were
delivered with dials instead marked "Marathon", as the name of the mission was
still secret at the time of delivery.
